Combining her background in residential and hospitality design, Yamini Hingorani approaches each interior design challenge with careful analysis and a creative, problem-solving approach. Since launching Yamini Designs, LLC in 2002, Yamini has provided interior design services to residential and commercial clients in Chicago, IL and Bloomington, IN to create comfortable, stylish, and environmentally friendly spaces.

Yamini works closely with clients to meet their individual design requirements, budgetary goals, schedules, and lifestyle. From the initial consultation through the planning stage to final execution and installation, Yamini’s collaborative approach and communication puts clients at ease and helps bring their collective vision to fruition.

Prior to establishing her own firm, Yamini worked in Chicago as an interior designer for Gettys, a world- renowned hospitality design firm. While at Gettys, she worked with a variety of hospitality clients including The Wyndham Chicago Hotel, The Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel, Chicago and The Ritz Carlton, Pentagon City, Va. In the process, she learned the importance of collaboration and teamwork and excelled in personal design initiatives that were integral to each project’s goal.

Yamini Designs has provided interior design services for a variety of residential and commercial clients including a guestroom renovation at the James Allen Center at Northwestern University’s Kellog School of Management, Evanston, IL, offices for Coldwell Banker, Lake Zurich, IL, and a renovation for Las Palmas Restaurant, Highland Park, IL.

Yamini’s design education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and coursework completed at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
