Yamini did an excellent job presenting us with a cohesive design for our Hyde Park living room and entryway. She listened to our feedback and adjusted to our budget and timeline. She presented various options and worked well with recruiting contractors to complete the needed work on the fireplace, wallpaper and electrical. The pieces she selected were of excellent quality. She was very easy to work with and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great design experience!

“We purchased a new home in the Chicago area and undertook a project with Yamini, not knowing what to expect. Our first interaction set the tone for the entire project...she was responsive and scheduled an appointment immediately (most other designers didn't even return our call). Our problem to solve going in: How to make this new home ours, reflecting our personality, style and life stage (two teenagers at home) while navigating a budget. Her challenge: Meet our budgetary needs, bring new design thinking to the table and leverage some of our existing furniture. The units were bought with future rentals in mind, so I put Yamini on a very strict timeline and small budget even with the level of luxury I asked for. She was not only helpful, very efficient, talented and flexible, she also acted as a mentor and a friend throughout the time I've worked with her. It was an intensive job given the circumstances, but she made it basically stress-free for me and the results turned out way better than I would ever imagine.
